1. About Doverse
Doverse is a childrenās learning and creativity platform designed to help kids build confidence, creativity, communication, emotional resilience, financial awareness, and future-ready skills.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide Doverse and its services. This may include a parent's email address, a child's first name, age, profile photo or avatar, photos, videos, creative projects, portfolio creations, learning progress, XP, badges, subscription status, and app activity. We do not collect more personal information than is reasonably necessary to operate the platform.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
Doverse does not intentionally collect a childās home address, school name, phone number, government-issued identification, precise GPS location, or payment card information. Subscription payments are securely processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Doverse does not receive or store payment card information.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to create child profiles, provide educational activities, save learning progress, display portfolio creations, enable parent dashboard features, manage Growth Circle sharing, operate premium features, improve Doverse, protect the platform, prevent misuse, and help maintain a safe environment for children.
5. Childrenās Privacy and Parent Consent
Doverse is designed for children and requires a parent or legal guardian to create the account and provide consent before a child profile is created or any personal information is collected. Parents are responsible for managing their child's account, privacy settings, and sharing preferences.
6. Child Photos and Videos
With parental consent, children may upload or record photos, videos, creative projects, and other educational content. Doverse stores this content so children can participate in activities, build their portfolios, and share content according to the privacy settings selected by the parent.
7. Sharing Settings
Parents control how their child's content is shared. Depending on the selected sharing option, content may remain private, be shared only with approved Growth Circle members, or be shared within the Doverse community. Doverse does not allow direct messaging or private messaging between children.
8. Parent Rights
Parents may review, update, correct, download, or delete their child's personal information at any time. Parents may also request deletion of their child's account and associated data by contacting Doverse.
9. Delete Child Data
Parents may request deletion of their child's account and personal information, including profile information, photos, videos, creative projects, portfolio creations, learning progress, XP, badges, and other content. Certain information may be retained only when required by law or for fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution.
10. Access or Copy of Child Data
Parents may request a copy of the personal information Doverse maintains about their child. We may verify the parent's identity before providing access, corrections, downloads, or deletion requests.
11. Europe and GDPR Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request a copy of personal data, subject to applicable law. Parents or legal guardians may exercise these rights on behalf of their child where allowed by law.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide Doverse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, protect users, and enforce our agreements. Parents may request deletion of their child's data at any time.
13. Subscriptions
Doverse may offer optional premium access for smart educational videos, project submissions, premium activities, and future premium features. Payment information is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and is not stored by Doverse.
14. Data Storage and Security
Doverse uses Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Firestore Database, and Firebase Storage, to securely operate the platform. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
15. International Users
Doverse is available to families in multiple countries. Personal information may be processed and stored in countries where our trusted service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information regardless of where it is processed.
